Wow, Seth has burst into words all of the sudden.
Eli spoke very early but steadily picked words and phrases up at an even pace. Jake didn't say a thing until about 18 months when he broke into sentences (Eli did all his talking for him). Seth has kind of followed Jake's pattern. He is 21 months old now and here are the main things he says:
Gimmee that
I want one
I'll get it (shouted when the phone or doorbell rings)
Stop
No!
Drink
Jax, Jay (Jake), Eli, Mom
Plane
Dog bone
Light
Nose
Bike
Stinky (and its partner: poo poo)
Hot
I go outside
I get down
Nurse (and its partner: Other side)
Night night
Please, Thank you
I want gum
Okay
Shoe
Juice
Bite
Hi
Bye
Ciao Ciao
Buono (screw your index finger back and forth onto your cheek and that is how Italian kids indicate a food is tasty)
And our new favorite: I fahted
And for Jake's developmental latest:

He lost one top tooth last week and showed me that his other one was also loose. I vigorously suggested he NOT wiggle it so he would at least have SOME teeth but he was bound and determined to get it out of there. School starts next week, school pictures quickly following.
Eli is just busy being Eli. He is so helpful to me when it comes to Seth. When Seth walks away from us in a public place, Eli automatically goes and gently redirects him. Now, if I could only get him to treat Jake that way!
