Trying something new
My new digital camera takes short video clips in MPG format. I ignored it for a while but started playing around with it and it is such a cool little tool! You know how you film for twenty minutes at a time only to find out later how boring it is? Not so with this format. You have about 30 seconds to capture something. Anyway, thought I would start posting a short clip each week. I wish I could get it to stream but it won't from the server I am using. What I will do instead is simply link the file for download. Beware, this first one is a monster, weighing in at nearly 15mb! It takes a little bit to load. I will try to keep them shorter later.
This clip is entitled "Teradactyl". Eli says that Seth's toddler shriek must be what teradactyls used to sound like. It is ear piercing. We were in a store the other day when he did it and we heard from the next aisle over "THAT is why I will never have children". We laughed our butts off. Eli wants me to put up the disclaimer that we had just woken up and his hair is sleep infested.
p.s. I am also in the process of putting in a photo gallery section that will make it a snap for me to upload pictures (read: a lot less procrastination). You will also be able to put comments under each picture if you want (can you tell I am excited?!). Stay tuned, should be sometime this week.
