The Trouble With Silverware

"It touched my eye and now the end of the spoon is sticky." quote from nine year old son. What is there to say to that?

"Mom, I accidently touched my eye with the fork." quote from my seven year old son, two days later (he wasn't part of the first conversation).

"BAD FORK, STUPID FORK, STUPID FORK MOM BAD, BAD" quote from my two year old son today after he stepped on the fork that he had just dropped on the floor (drawing blood and nearly incoherent wailing).

A couple of new pictures in the photo gallery.

Good Grief Seth is getting so big. Move is getting closer about a week away. I can't wait. What is that you are eating? A pig?

Yep, a big ugly pig that was way too tasty. There were about 50-60 people there and we gorged ourselves caveman-style. Most of us didn't even use utensils or plates (thus avoiding the trouble with silverware hahahahahaha).

And dad, we do a private chicken pull almost weekly. There is a guy that sells spit roasted (whole) chickens right outside the housing gate. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Oh, I forgot to mention, he doesn't actually use spit when he roasts the chicken.

Deb and boys..We're home from Colorado ..good trip. All kinds weather. Suggestion ..only give them spoons! However..how will they ever learn to eat with forks? Finger foods may be the best answer for a while. Pig roast and chicken sounds A OK. Happy Mother's Day to you Deb. Love Gramma Belva
