Ebay Sale: Check out the stitch markers

My sister and niece are beginning to sell! Woohoo! My niece has put up three stitch markers (as a group) as a test run on Ebay. These have not been tempered in a kiln but should be fine for the average knitter (it is only an issue for extreme temperature changes). We have to fine tune how they are listed though, she is listing them under glass beads and not knitting. I wonder if there is a way to cross list them?

Anyway, one other thing my sister needs help with is naming her fledgling business. Anyone want to make suggestions for her? It shouldn't be too cutesy and should be more broad than just stitch markers, as she will be selling glass beads for nonknitting purposes (does that exist? LOL).

Insect stitch markers on Ebay!

Not everyone left an email address for me to contact them about the stitch markers so in the future, I will notify people by posting the new auctions on my blog. Probably the easiest thing to do would be to enter your email address in the notify list to the left of this post (be sure you are on the main screen of my blog). That way when I post a new entry, you will be notified. If you decide later that you don't want to be on that list just send me an email to take your address off.

Your sister and niece can choose a 2nd category for an additional fee. Good luck to them.

The fee for listing in a second category is very small so I think it would make sense. Otherwise knitters may not find them. She may want to add something in the title that would show make them show up in searches that just search the titles. Searches on ebay only search the title AND description is that box is checked to do so. Good luck on the auctions!

They definitely need to be cross referenced in some way. I can't beleive that no one else os bidding on them. I should have been outbid yesterday!

This is why she is test running them. She listed them without telling me and only barely mentioned that they were stitch markers. She has now cross listed them but the title still doesn't reflect knitting. I told her that I would write the description next time.

I think we have both come to the conclusion that she will sell them from her own webpage. The charges for Ebay each seem small but they add up quickly.
